ES 0.20.6 Service Wrapper Gone?

I have downloaded and installed the 0.20.6 ES version but it seems that the
service wrapper functionality $HOME/bin/service/elasticsearch
install/remove is gone?!?!? It appears to be there in version 0.20.5, but
not in 0.20.6. Was this functionality intentionally removed? If so, why?

I just download it from:
https://download.elasticsearch.org/elasticsearch/elasticsearch/elasticsearch-0.20.6.zip

I don't think it was ever included, but you can get it here.
