ES crashing because of Exceptions

Hi all,

ES novice here. we are doing testing of some queries which are wrong what i
expect from ES to throw corresponding exceptions like
Lucene.QueryParseException ,Jackson wrong json exception etc .my problem is
these erratic queries are crashing my ES.Is this is a normal behavior from
ES?I mean,can forcing ES to throw various Exceptions crash ES node?
