ES2 fails on simple test

hi,
so we have been facing a problem,
a simple test like

ab -n 80 -c 80 -t 120 -r -p est/hospital-search.json http://<server _IP>:9200/lyfboat/hospitals/_search

crashes elastica but java seems to be running.

You can't, you need to do that yourself.

I should note that if ES is crashing then you should figure out why. Look in the logs, monitor the instance with Marvel.
