I was wondering if there isn't a way to export, as with other visualizations, a heatmap to csv (or any other format).

Hi @Mike_CC,
Currently dashboards and visualizations (including heatmap) can be exported only as PDF documents, while saved searches in Discover can be exported as CSV.
You can also open Inspect panel while on heatmap visualization and export data behind it to CSV. If you need raw documents behind heatmap you can base it on Saved Search and export this search to CSV instead.
