It is currently not possible to filter faceted nested documents using
fields from the parent/root document. What workarounds is anyone using?
From my experimentation:
- Filtered queries (not possible with my use case)
- multi search (too expensive)
- add fields to nested documents (too expensive)
- ???
Tried to come up with a scripted solution but came up empty. This issue is
the first roadblock I have ever faced with elasticsearch. I usually find
some hack around issues! Any suggestions?
