Could you please tell me if i should wait in order to get the new
aggregation module for faceted search:
or just use the current way of working with facets, and then the learning
curve of getting to the new aggregation module will not be significant?
thank you in advance

You should start with the former facet module. It will help a lot to be ready for the aggregation module when ready.
My 2 cents

Hi Panos,
That all depends
The aggregations will be available in the 1.0 release, scheduled early next
year. If you need something earlier you'd need to use the 0.90 facets.
To be honest I don't think the learning curve is much to worry about. I
would start with the current facets, which by the way will also be
supported in 1.0 as well (though deprecated ).
Cheers,
Boaz

Hi Panos,
Sure, it's part of the github repo. But to be clear it is still under
development and changes daly. I wouldn't recommend doing anything with it
except to orient and try things out.
Cheers,
Boaz
