Does anyone know if it is possible to get a tribe-node to not go dark if
a configured child-cluster goes offline?
We would like to use it to provide federated search across multiple
clusters (in different data centers) - but as it is now the tribe node will
not return anything if one of the configured clusters is unavailable.
A search would of course not include any results from an unavailable
cluster, but an option to forward the search to the still available
clusters would make the tribe node an alternative for multi-site federated
search.
Right now we can't affort to lose all search if one location does not
answer.
Regards,
Espen
