great that works, but was wondering i was passing from multiple instances with multiple file paths . but when i debug bin/logstash -f /etc/logstash/conf.d/logs.conf --debug i was seeing mostly from single instance only. is there anything to change configurations for number of threads or something else to collect from multiple instances parallel.

No, you don't need to do anything. Check the logs on the sending side (i.e. Filebeat).
