Fundamental of securing elastic search |why self signed certificate is failing while querying using curl

using "elasticsearch-certutil" I created ca file and the p12 certificates. I could query the elasticsearch ip using curl in insecure mode (using -k) option

But querying is not working when specify the path of cacert! What is the reason for that?
