Hi all,

Iam have query with related to GDPR with certgen generated certificates, if we use the self signed certificates generated by xpack certgen among the elasticsearch nodes and for kibana are we complaint with GDPR or we have to get the certificates from the authorised CA if its available in the organisation.

Whether you are GDPR compliant is something you should seek legal/compliance advice on from an expert in Compliance. This forum is not able to provide this advice. We can however, help you with the technical aspects of how to install a trusted certificate etc. but not on whether you need an authorised CA trusted certificate
