Grouped Vertical Bar Graphs in 6.x

I need to plot values in grouped bar graph mode in ES, similar to the issues here:

Stacked and grouped columns in bar chart

Is there a way to create a bar chart in Kibana with both column grouping and stack aggregations? Namely, I would like something like this [image] where different columns in a given time period separate records broadly, while the stack colors give more fine-grained information about them.

Hi , What I need to choose in the Y-Axis Aggregation ? I tried sum of git_commit and another Y-Axis of sum aggregation for rb_commits. At the X-Axis I choose Data histogram and Daily interval. Can you explain how I need to configure this Chart ? [image] I also tries to put a scripted field of rb_commits+git_commits at the Y-Axis , but I don't how to separate the column to 2 lines for the same day. [image] Thanks Chen

However, neither of the solutions seems to work in the current kibana release. Can you help me with this issue?

Have you tried the Stacked mode?

That might yield what you're looking for!

Yeah, but it does not group the data, it stacks "split series" buckets on top of each other instead of plotting them separately. In one of the issues, it is evident that stacked mode is different from grouped mode as both the options are present.

I have found that you can no longer split bars and group vertical bars at the same time in Kibana.
