Having issue to re run the snapshot

Hi guys,

I’m new to ELK. I got this issue recently. It actually is my mistake. I’m running a snapshot using elasticsearch curator where snapshot date based on range.

Everything look normal since February until July.

I’m supposedly to run snapshot between

  1. 01 until 10
  2. 11 until 20
  3. 21 until 30/31

Then I wrongly run 01 until 11. Which is WRONG. Yes by right I should just keep it as I day is not an issue. BUT due to panic I delete the snapshot.

Why ? I just think re run the batch and change the range as simple as that. But it keep on failed. XXX failed shard. WHATT ??!!

Can some tell me what is happening. I just thought snapshot can rerun as many as I can. Isn’t it ??
