Haystack US 2023, The Search Relevance Conference - Dates & Call for Presentations - We need your talks!

Hi all,

We've got exciting plans for this year's Haystack US - come and join us in Charlottesville, VA for a week of fun with the search community:

  • Start with a Search Meetup the evening of Monday 24th April
  • Main conference days Tuesday 25th & Wednesday 26th April with social events in the evenings
  • Stay in town for trainings, hacking & a free co-working space 27th April
  • Social event on Friday 28th April (we hope to organise a tour of local wineries)

Tickets will be on sale soon - but right now we need your help to build our conference program! You can submit your talk here - at Haystack we want to hear from practitioners from around the world working on hard relevance problems. Submit your talk by February 27th.

We want to know what’s working and not working – the real-life war stories of theory encountering practice. What did that paper actually say, and how did you implement it in your search stack? Was the silver bullet for your team some kind of taxonomy? Or intent classification? Or perhaps vector search or Learning to Rank? A/B testing for search? Generating search quality data from user events? Your audience will generally be search professionals, developers and relevance engineers. Check out our past talks for inspiration and we look forward to reading your submission!

Best
