Hostname and timestamp gets overwritten when using archived event logs using winlogbeat

Version : Winlogbeat 7.9.2
Platform: Windows 10
Reproduction Instructions:
Use winlogbeat to upload an event log file (.evtx file using -E option) and use the default config file. I used this script to upload bulk files from https://github.com/sbousseaden/EVTX-ATTACK-SAMPLES as a test. All my host.name values are overwritten with the name of the machine used for uploading and corresponding timestamp's also overwritten. I've tried inline script processors to replace host.name but no luck.

The host name is overwritten because of the add_host_metadata processor. For simplicity I would comment it out. But a more complicated solution would be to add a when condition that checks if log.file.path is present and skip the processor.

All of the script processors that set host.name with the winlog.computer_name are unnecessary because this is default behavior now.

The @timestamp is set to the <Event><System><TimeCreated SystemTime="2016-01-28T20:33:27.990735300Z"/> value from event. Try using the Beat's file output rather than Logstash to verify the @timestamp value in the documents. You can even add the include_xml: true option so you can compare the @timestamp to the XML.
