How can i add a custom menu item

I want to add custom menu item,how can i add it.i use kibana(version:6.3.2)

You can do this by creating a custom plugin. Plugin development information is here, but the easiest way is to use the Kibana plugin generator. The complexity of your plugin will depend on what you want that menu item to do.

Currrently,i embed an new page,for example.if i embed "www.google.com",but it will open an new page,no open on right area.can you give me some guidance?
