How do I get histogram interval used in a custom plugin

I am writing a custom plugin. How do I get the interval that was used for histogram aggregations. When auto scaling is used how do I retrieve the interval. I need the interval for filtering. I am developing on 7.10.2. Thanks in advance!

Hello - can you please explain a bit here? what is your plugin intended to do? You can pick an interval in Kibana UI and query the data in Elasticsearch. are you looking for how Kibana app is corresponding with elasticsearch?
