How many applications apm server can handle?

Elasticsearch version:7.4.2

APM Server version: 7.6.2

APM Agent language and version: python 3.7 and flask framework

I create a docker apm-server to use with kubernets, I would like to know how many applications apm-server can handle without any problem.

That's hard to say in a generalized way. Apps vary wildly in their size and number of transactions.

You can find a bunch of information about tuning the APM Server and adding additional nodes here: Reduce storage | APM User Guide [8.11] | Elastic

If the APM Server cannot process data quickly enough, you will see request timeouts.
