HOW much time/downtime is expecte to open/close/updatesettings of an index

Hi,

I am trying to update the setting of one my index wondering how much downtime is expected for the complete process where I need to close the index first then perform update and then reopen the indices.

Depends on what the update is, how busy your nodes are etc.

I am trying to update the settings with analysers block. for 3 of my indexes in production
