How to create a unique index to match all the newly created index patterns in kibana?

Hi All,

I have created an index pattern in kibana , 'nlevel_report*'. This index fetches all the data related relevant to this index pattern.

So long, I was able to view the data for all the months. Somehow, I am unable to view data for the month of June.

Has anyone faced the same problem? Any pointers on how to get his issue resolved?

Do you have a separate index for June? The * at the end of your index pattern is a wildcard that should match any indices that start with nlevel_report such as nlevel_report_201906, nlevel_report_201905, etc.

You might also check that the mapping for your indices are correct. Index templates are useful for creating new indexes with identical or similar mappings.
