i am new to ES using 2.3.x can someone point me to any docs on how we can index data from postgresql ? looks like rivers are deprecated since 1.5 https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/rivers/current/index.html
Use Logstash and its jdbc input plugin.
oh great, didn't know log stash do that...got confused with word 'Log'
