How to scale the Coordinator nodes in ES

Hi,

We are trying to add coordinator nodes in our current ES cluster V6.
How to scale or estimate this nodes for enough query load in introducing dedicated coordinator nodes.
the current search rate was 2000 and indices rate was for total shards it is 300. and this is for over all indices.
