How can I show a sub string of a field value in Kibana Visualization axis label?

Hi Vinay,

For Bar/Area chart there is another tab along with Data "Metrics & Axes" there you can specify truncate word limit.

Hi Seema,

That limits the no of characters I want to show from the start. But how to show a part of the complete string which may not be starting from 0th character of actual field value?

for that change you need to edit the file from where axis is populating.
