How to use gz files in s3 to kibana?

Hi! I was able to successfully use kibana through .json files, but I was wondering if you are able to use .gz files on kibana as well? For some reason my .gz files dont work with kibana...

  • what kind of JSON files are you using
  • what are you using them for (what goal are you really trying to accomplish?)
  • what kind of gz file are you trying to use
  • what is the problem you're getting when you try to use the gz file?
