How view index files from Lucene 5.4.1 - From ES 2.2

Hi,

Is there a way to view the lucene index files created by ES 2.2?
I have tried bunch of things (luke etc) but all complain that index format is too new. Thanks for your help in advance.

I don't believe there is, why do you want to do this though?

I wanted to see how inverted index is being created. After some analyzers being applied.
