Impact on replacing Oracle JDK with openJDK

We have moved to openJDK 8 on version 6.2.4 and since then we are noticing issues such as below.

  1. UNASSIGNED INDEX_CREATED
  2. Frequentlty Kibana having intermittent no living connection error messages and status becomes Red

Has anyone experienced it or did any tuning post using OpenJDK?

No, this is unexpected. But your description is very vague so it's impossible to know what the problem is. Can you describe it in more detail? Can you share logs or other error messages? Which version of OpenJDK 8 are you using? If shards are unassigned then can you use the allocation explain API to find out why?
