we would like to import Emails into Elasticsearch to have a kind of Email Archive.
We started with Logstash and the IMAP Input plugin. But it turned out that this plugin was not updated in the last years and has several issues.
Biggest issue for us is that it don't support multipart emails and all embedded base64 encoded images are lost.
And it also seems that the Input plugin is not working with the newest Logstash Versions.
We tried also to harvest the .eml files directly on the mail server with Filebeat, but Filebeat was not able to merge the serveral tousand lines inside a eml file together and send them as one event.
My Question is now : Is there any other input plugin available to import emails into Logstash?
