Importing existing index from one server to other

Hello all,
I was wondering the method of importing a single index from one server to another. Currently using restore from backup but one of the indexes are not populating on the main server but is working fine on our dev server. I was wondering if it is possible to import that one index from that server since they are both identical.

You could try reindex from remote.
