Increase score based on the numbers of fields matched

What I want to do sounds simple enough, yet I can't find any information on how to do this.

I want to give a boost to my score, based on the numbers of fields matched during a search.

It seems to me I can use directly a value inside a document, but not other properties such as amount of fields matched, is this assumption correct?

A bool query with multiple should clauses will do that I think.
