Just set a more specific index template with a higher priority value than the more general one, and looking to apply this template instead of the general one. Then I removed related data stream (which wipes off all the related indexes as well). A data stream and index with the same name having the new index template applied are successfully created automatically. However, no document (log entry) got written into this new index.
Checked status is green.
Tried reverting this, and the index works just fine with the general template. But once I try the new template, no document write could be done again.
Thought of index privileges in Roles, but index pattern has never been changed. I don't see any difference between two indexes created under different index template. Any idaes?
