Index old zip files along with new files with index life management

i am indexing files collected by syslog server using filebeat. And those indexes are given index life management as to create new indexes by appending current date when the size of the index file reaches 50Gb
But i have some zipped files that are log rotated and kept in the same folder. Is it possible to index those files also such that old files will come in old index and new file in new index?
Or Should we manually index old zip files by unziping according to their chronological order first and then index the new files?

(I also observed that zip files are not getting automatically unzipped and indexed by filebeat and Elasticsearch)

ILM cannot do this for you unfortunately.
