Hi, I'm using Logstash with the input-cloudwatch-logs to fetch some historic log data (last 6 month) from Cloudwatch Logs. It seems like the plugin start fetching as it should, but skips some of the streams in the log-group in question Leaving big gaps in the historic data.
What could be the cause of this? Or any help troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.
If someone else encounters the same problem, I solved it via first exporting the logs to s3 https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudWatch/latest/logs/S3ExportTasks.html and then import it with the logstash s3 plugin
