The installation guide provided is for Linux.
Please i need an installation guide for Windows.

  1. Download zip file
  2. Unzip.
  3. Change any config you want.
  4. Run the .bat.

A Windows service runs also when nobody is logged in. You should definitely run Elasticsearch as a service.

I want to interface elasticsearch with a software that extracts the keywords, focus... from a sentence. This can be done by runing elasticsearch as a service?!

How Elasticsearch is run—as a service or not—does not affect what you can do with the software.
