Installation of logstash-output-opensearch in an airgap environment(no internet access on server)

Hello Experts,

I need your assistance in installing logstash-output-opensearch in an airgap environment(our servers can not connect to internet)

We are receiving the following error while executing the command :

./logstash-plugin install logstash-output-opensearch
ERROR: Something went wrong when installing logstash-output-opensearch, message: certificate verify failed

OpenSearch/OpenDistro are AWS run products and differ from the original Elasticsearch and Kibana products that Elastic builds and maintains. You may need to contact them directly for further assistance.

If your server does not have access to the internet this is expected.

You need to follow the documentation on how to prepare an offline plugin package, you will need to use a machine with access to the internet and Logstash on the same version that are running in your server to generate the offline package, after that you will need to transfer this file to your airgapped server.

Just check the documentation and follow the steps.
