Installing Logstash plugin while service is running

Hi everyone,
just one quick question. I have on a linux server logstash running with systemctl. I need to try some new pipelines but i need to add a plugin. I can add a new plugin while the service is running?
The plugin i want to install is salesforce

You can install the new plugin while it is running, but it will only be active after you restart Logstash.

You do not need to stop it to install the plugin, but need to restart the service for it to be available in pipeline configurations.
