I have a two-node cluster of elasticsearch. I am using filebeat to ship log files into these nodes of elasticsearch and everything works fine. Also, the health of cluster is green. Now, i have a question, is it needed to use logstash in order to ship logs from filebeat to elasticsearch? I want to run ELK in the production environment. what happens if I don't use logstash and just ship the logs into elasticsearch by filebeat?
