I am looking for a way that a Canvas object can be embedded in a document? I am trying to create a custom template for it to generate some high-level reports in our organisation. I was wondering if anybody has used Canvas to that level and if any sample can be shared for this matter?
What do you mean?
Create a text field with the Canvas JSON?
No, I mean the actual canvas object. There used to be some demos on how it can be embedded in slides in the early days. Not sure if that was more like a concept or actually using it in the office suite with perhaps macros, etc.
What you usually do is creating the PDF export of it.
Or you just use it as slides directly in Kibana.
Other options are using iframes or the embed into webpage function.
Whats your preferred option?
