Is it possible to store some of the records in a variable in kibana?

Hi guys, I want to compare results of some of the records I have in my index. So, is it possible to group some records in different variables that I can use for creating visualizations later?
I want to provide these variables as a list to users so that they can select which group of records they want to select.

Hello,

You can use input controls - https://www.elastic.co/blog/interactive-inputs-on-kibana-dashboards
to let the user select the results (hence the resulting dashboard display).

Thanks @bhavyarm for the reference, but this won't help in my case as I don't wanna show them the record values directly. I want to form groups of some records manually and then give them the list of those groups which I formed. Is this possible?
