Is there a limit on count of roles for document level security

I plan to implement a document level security with Shield 2.4.
the implementation suppose to support a lot of users (native) and roles.
Is there a limit on count of roles?

There is no explicit limit on the number of users or roles. How many users/roles are you planning to create?
