Java Update but needs restart for Elasticsearch

Hi,

We have a vulnerability regarding an update for Java version. After updating the Java, we need to restart our Elasticsearch cluster. Is there a way that we don't need to restart the Elasticsearch instance after the Java update and changes will reflect directly?

No. There is not.

You can do rolling upgrades though.
