Hi there,
Any one upgraded the jdk version from 1.8.0_144 to 1.8.0_191 that's part of an Elasticstack image saved in overlay folders OR container running elasticsearch/kibana ?
Thanks
Murali

Hey there @muraliv,
Are you sure you are in the right discuss forum? I think you might be looking for https://discuss.elastic.co/c/elastic-stack
Hi Roy,
Yes, I am in the correct category or topic. I am running ECE on-premise and looking to address the vulnerability that exists with java-8 version referenced in the subject line. It looks like the only option I have is to upgrade Elasticsearch to version 7.3.2 or above to address it.
Thanks
Murali
You're correct. ECE uses the stack's docker images and in order to take advantages of new features and security patches you will need to upgrade to a new Elasticsearch version.
