Hello everyone!

I would like to know if there is any documentation to use existing kerberos auth to be able to authenticate in Elasticsearch (with X-Pack).

The idea would be to add the user-role mapping in Elasticsearch and delegate the auth on Hadoop/Spark side using Kerberos.

Is it supported?

@Luca_Belluccini To my knowledge there is not yet any core functionality for authenticating in X-Pack with Kerberos.

I was thinking about some way to let Hadoop authenticate with X-Pack but it is still not the case.
We'll check with support if there are any plans to do so.
