Kibana 6.5 Access to Dashboard + Discovery App

@Stacey_Gammon, wanted to follow up on this 6-month old (closed) post: Kibana 6.2 dashboard_only_user with Discover screen.

Having a role with access only to Dashboard + Discovery would be super useful.

  • Any updates on whether 6.5, 6.6 or any future versions cover this?
  • When it eventually arrives, would one expect to find a role covering this under 6.x Built-in Roles?
