Just to make sure I understand, you're looking for further documentation on the create index pattern API? Or other APIs as well?
As far as I'm aware, the page you linked to is currently the only documentation we have on that particular experimental API.

Sorry, I'm still not quite clear on whether we are talking about the index pattern API specifically or all Kibana APIs.
Is there a specific question you are looking to answer that the docs don't cover? Perhaps I could help.
Currently our REST API documentation is a bit scattered, and -- especially for experimental APIs such as the one you've linked to -- may be incomplete. The good news is that we are thinking about ways to generate these docs, we just aren't there yet.
