Kibana Dashboard Filter - Based on Columns

Hi,
Please advise to achieve the below requirement

Data Fields and Sample Values

I want to have only one Bar chart which should top 3 person name based upon the selected filter.

The Dashboard filter should have the column names Sales, Commission, Salary, Bonus

If I select Sales from the Option List Dashboard filter, the chart should show top 3 person name based upon the Sales.

If I select Commission from the Option List Dashboard filter, the chart should show top 3 person name based upon the Commission.

Note: Only one chart serve the purpose of all the different field top values.

Hi @Raj4 ! Unfortunately, this is not possible with dashboard filters. They are only designed to exclude certain portions of the data. There is no way to hook them up to a visualization to dynamically change the visualization config.

If a table view would be okay, I wonder if an embedded saved search might work for you? That approach allows you to sort by whatever column you want, effectively giving you the top three of whichever column you selected.
