Kibana doesn't show graphics for netflow index

Hi.

I ingested the traffic from a pcap with softflowd when logstash was listening that port, and a index was created in elasticsearch, the problem is kibanas doesn't show any dashboard or chart but it detects the index (and i can get information from it) and i can see how many flows it haves for the rest dashboards just shows 'no results found' or '0'. logstash, elasticsearch and kibana doesn't show any errores.

Kibana is querying Elasticsearch, so if it's not showing data then there are two possible causes:

  • The data is not indexed the way you expected
  • The pre-built Kibana dashboards for netflow are missing the index pattern that they expect to exist
