after restarting kibana i don't get any msg in the terminal,
now the connection is refused (i am trying to reach it from google chrome browser at http://localhost:5601/)

This site can’t be reachedlocalhost refused to connect.

ES and Kibana must be the same version.

Should restart kibana and check details. Must be more details. Use log settings from above and add to kibana.yml

Have you install ES and Kib with sudo?
This should return a list of indices.

Add in /etc/config/jvm.options.d directory a jvm.options file with values:

-Xmx2g

Check is there any error in the elastic log.

Also add in kibana.yml:
