Hello. I want to have some time based indices but with the particularity that some data could be indexed into the past.
I don't see how to achieve this using roll over index.
Would index template be a good solution ?
I plan to do an index template with my mapping and then new indices will be auto generated when necessary. The process that do the indexation will add the date in the index name. Then i will do some multi indicies aggregation in order to fit my needs.
I hope you can tell me if you see any limitation to this solution.
