Hi guys,
Just want to ask which lib or technologies ES used for monitoring, like
generating reports about requests time, refresh time, GC related
information...
Regards,
Son.

Hi.
Have you already tried these two plugins for Elasticsearch?
http://mobz.github.io/elasticsearch-head/
Installing these two plugins in ES is rather easy and between
the two of them you should get all the information that you
need about your cluster.
Regards,
Matteo

Opps sorry, I didn't mean front end monitoring. Actually I use both plugins.
What I asked is that how ES can provide those plugins with such details
information?
I want to incorporate those information into our product, written in Java
of course.

Yes kind of that, I am just wondering how does ES generate that information?

Sigar is optional, lots of info come from the operating system and JVM
management API

Yes it is optional but without it quite a few metrics will not be delivered by ES. I would stick with jvm stats of you can. I looked at sigar only briefly while working on embedding ES into tomcat and it seems pretty big project with good deal of legacy weighting it...
