We've started setting up ILM in our Elastic Stack 6.6.1 cluster. I was wondering where ILM actions are logged. For example, if I setup ILM to delete certain indices older than 2 weeks, where can I see which indices where deleted?

The history of actions that ILM performs is not currently recorded. You can view the current status of indices using the Explain Lifecycle API.
We know that this feature would be useful and have been discussing possible implementations. Could I ask you to file a GitHub issue describing your use case and what information would be important to have in an ILM history/log? We'd love to have your input!
