Logstash and Anonymize

Hi,

I was trying to get more information on the Anonymize function with
logstash .I was planning to anonymize certain fields due to an application
requirement .I understand that Logstash can hash the values of specified
field with consisten hashes.Does it maintain any internal hash table
mapping the hash value to the original field value ?

Regards

Sanjay
